Focus Features has promoted Peter Kujawski (pictured) to senior vice president of international sales and Gabrielle Stewart to manager of international sales.

Kujawski steps up from vice president to replace Tim Spencer - who is leaving the film business to pursue other opportunities - and has been with the company since its inception in 2002. He will remain in the company's Manhattan offices.

Stewart will remain in the company's London offices and joined in 2005 to work directly with president of international sales and distribution Alison Thompson. In 2007 she increased her responsibilities as sales coordinator.

'Peter is very much part of the Focus family,' Thompson said. 'Truly, there is no one else who could have filled Tim's shoes as well. Gabrielle's promotion to junior executive is a well-deserved natural progression. Since she shares Peter's talent and dedication, I really can't think of a better sales team.'

Kujawski's sales credits include Volver, House Of Flying Daggers, Lost in Translation, The Constant Gardener, Eastern Promises and Brokeback Mountain.

He previously worked at Focus as manager of creative affairs and began his career at Good Machine as an assistant to James Schamus.

Prior to joining Focus, Stewart worked at Renaissance Films International in London.
