The programme features the makers of the next Harry Potter instalment, and Despicable Me

The fourth edition of Parisfx (Dec 15-16), the French event devoted to special effects and digital technology, will take place at Espace Pierre Cardin, Paris.

This year’s event will feature a number of CGI and VFX-based case studies and round table debates. On hand will be Mac Guff (Despicable Me), the Moving Picture Company (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows), Double Negative (Iron Man 2), and Antoine Charreyron (The Prodigies) to discuss their projects.

The showcase will host conferences on the latest digital technology trends and show previews of upcoming films.

Parisfx, co-organised by the Commission du Film d’Ile-de-France and the Larivière Organisation, will also explore digital and special effects innovation in the TV, gaming and advertising industries.
