Selected for the upcomingPPP, M is a mystic melodrama about awriter who is suffering from constant dejà vu as he falls for a mysteriousgirl. The film is set to go into production in late October.
Lee, well-known for workingwith promising young talent, previously worked with Gang on Duelist.
Gang is currently starringin Maundy Thursday which debuted atthe top of the Korean box office this past weekend with 1.2 million admissions.Prime Entertainment distributed the melodrama on 520 screens nationwide.
Core Studio also announcedcasting for My One And Only Love(working title), based on a best-selling internet novel about a man and a womanwho fall in love at first sight with each other, and end up unwillinglycheating on their respective lovers.
Jae Hee, who starred in KimKi-duk's 3-Iron, and Park Siyeon, whois in the upcoming MK Pictures release TheFox Family, will play the couple. Comedy actress Shinee (My Boyfriend Is Type-B),will star as Jae Hee's long-time girl friend.
Aiming for release in early2007, My One AndOnly Love will start shooting September 23.
