Frankfurt-based music and film production company, IN-motion movie & TV productions, has become the latest German media company to seek a listing on the Neuer Markt stock exchange.

IN-motion's founders Michael Muenzing and Luca Anzilotti have been key players in the international music scene for the last 15 years, masterminding the chart success of dance group SNAP! (Rhythm Is A Dancer). Last year the company expanded into the film and TV production sector by co-producing action TV series 18 Wheels Of Justice with CBS Enterprises and feature film Harlem Aria with Buena Vista Social Club co-producer Kintop Pictures.

IN-motion's future plans include another action series to be co-produced with Alliance Atlantis, Icon Productions and Asian kung-fu star Jet Li, and the creation of a web TV platform featuring a soap opera produced exclusively for the Internet.

IN-motion's flotation plans come as several other German media companies have cancelled or postponed their IPOs. Munich-based post-production concern digiSite Cine & Media Services planned a listing on Frankfurt's Regulated Market which it cancelled last week after failing to obtain subscribers for all the shares in the free float. The UK's filmgroup also last week cancelled its proposed IPO citing turbulent market conditions.
