Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy won three awards at the ceremony, which took place in London last night.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 was named Best Film at the Jameson Empire Awards, with David Yates picking up the prize for Best Director.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy picked up three awards for Best Thriller, Best British Film and Best Actor for Gary Oldman.

Olivia Colman won the Best Actress Award for her role in Paddy Considine’s Tyrannosaur, whilst Michael Fassbender won the Empire Hero award. Tim Burton was honoured with the Empire Legend award. 

Kenneth Branagh’s Thor was named Best Sci-Fi, Ben Palmer’s The Inbetweeners Best Comedy and Ben Wheatley’s Kill List Best Horror.

Now in its 17th year, the Jameson Empire Awards were voted for entirely by the public. Stars in attendance at the London ceremony included Gary Oldman, Danny De Vito, Agyness Deyn, Berenice Marlohe, James McAvoy, Tom Hiddleston and Michael Fassbender.
