Dustin Hoffmann, Hugh Grant, Salma Hayek and Sir Elton John are among the recipients of this year's Goldene Kamera awards which will be presented by the HoerZu magazine in Berlin's Konzerthaus on the eve of the Berlinale on February 4.

Hoffmann, who will also be in Berlin to present Moonlight Mile later in the Berlinale's Panorama section, will receive the Goldene Kamera's Lifetime Achievement Film award, while UK actor Hugh Grant has been named as this year's winner in the category of Best International Actor.

Meanwhile, Salma Hayek will receive the trophy in the Best International Actress category for her 'extraordinary achievement' as the lead actress and producer of the biopic Frida.

Elton John's Lifetime Achievement Music Goldene Kamera is being presented in recognition of 35 years in the music business.

For the first time this year, the local German prize-winners of the Goldene Kamera will be decided by the newly created Goldene Kamera Academy whose membership is made up of 78 previous winners.

Best German actor: Oliver Korittke, Sebastian Koch, Jürgen Vogel
Best German TV film : Die Mutter (ARD), Napoleon (ZDF), Die Hoffnung Stirbt Zuletzt (ARD)
