London-based financing, sales, and distribution company Intandem Films comes to Berlinwith a slate of eight new pictures.

Heading the slate is Zoo,the first project from its horror and thriller label FearFactory,the Enterprise Investment Scheme set up with producers Spice Factory, Colin Pons, and Mark Thomas. Zoois a dark comedy/horror film directed by Caradog Jamesand produced by Dan Films, Julie Baines and Barry Hanson, who previouslyproduced Creep. Jo Joyner, TomasRyan, Ben McGregor, and Amy Morgan will star.

Intandem's films in pre-productioninclude Peter Medak's Villa Golitsyn, a psychological drama setin the South of France. Thatfilm is produced by Jon Gordon, Lisa Fielding, and Tatiana Kennedy.

Also in pre-production is Sospiro di Vita (Breath ofLife), a World War II small-town drama directed by GiacomoCampiotti and starring Giancarlo Giannini,Chazz Palminteri andFederico Castelluccio. Producers attached to thatUK/France/Italy co-production are Galeshka Moravioff and Irene Masiello.

In post-production and set for a potential Cannesunveiling is Jeff Renfroe's psychological thriller Civic Duty starring Peter Krause.

Currently in production, Intandemhas The Black Pimpernel, a truelife-drama about the Chilean military coup of 1973. And set to shoot later thismonth is Richard Wellings-Thomas's psychologicalthriller Kiss Chase, starring Roy Marsden and Kelly Harrison.

Other films Intandem isrepresenting at EFM are UK/Italy co-production Out Of The Night, a true-life drama set in1943 starring Raoul Bovaand Peter O'Toole and produced by Jon Renard; andromantic comedy Bob's Not Gay fromdirector Jane Spencer starring Marie Gillain, MichaelMadsen, and Irene Jacob. Michael Cowan, Jason Piette,and Lucy Shuttleworth are producing Bob's Not Gay.

Intandem also has several films indevelopment through its relationship with Number 9 Films, Stephen Woolley's production company that has backing from the UKFilm Council, FilmFour and the Irish Film Board'sSuper Slate scheme.
