Jay Fukuto has been promoted to head of studio at animation creators Film Roman and will oversee the company's animation production operations for features, home entertainment, TV and visual effects.
Fukuto most recently served as head of production for Film Roman and will report directly to by Kent Rice, the CEO of Film Roman's parent company Starz Animation. He is based in Burbank.
Prior to joining Film Roman in 2006 Fukuto was vice president of entertainment at MGA Entertainment in Los Angeles and before that he worked at Walt Disney Television Animation.
He also held key creative and managerial roles at Netter Digital Entertainment and MGM Animation.
