Joe Pavlo has joined post-production company Men From Mars as senior VFX supervisor/head of 2D.

He won an Emmy for BBC/HBO's Rome and has also worked on features including Batman Begins and The Da Vinci Code.

In addition to on-set and in-house vfx supervision, Pavlo will spearhead the expansion of Men From Mars' 2D pipeline in both London and India.

Also, Simon Carr has come on board as senior VFX supervisor. He recently worked on The Mutant Chronicles and is now overseeing VFX on Solomon Kane.

'Whilst our new backing (from India-based Century) will gives us the opportunity to build an impressive vfx pipeline, Men From Mars has always been and will remain a talent (not technology) driven company,' said creative director and co-founder Phil Attfield. 'We have worked with both Joe and Simon over the years, and they are fabulous creatives first and foremost who also happen to be amazing technicians.'

Also, Natalie Stopford has recently joined Men From Mars as senior line producer.
