David Kaminow has been named executive vice president of marketingfor the Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group, and will work with marketingchief Valerie Van Galder on all Columbia Pictures and Revolution Studiosproductions and oversee worldwide market research for the studio.

During his tenure with the studio, Kaminow has overseen worldwidemarket research on such hit films as The Da Vinci Code, Fun With Dick AndJane, Pink Panther, Memoirs Of A Geisha, Hitch, Something's Gotta Give, 50First Dates, and Spider-Man2, among others.

Prior to joiningColumbia, Kaminow spent his career at Miramax in New York, where he started asdirector of research in 1994 and rose through the ranks to senior vicepresident of marketing and research.
