Kurdistan Film Commission

The Kurdistan Film Commission is the official Film Commission of the Kurdistan Region, operating under the umbrella of the Creative Kurdistan Institute. The Commission is dedicated to building and sustaining a professional audiovisual ecosystem through talent development, production support, industry infrastructure, and international partnerships and collaboration.

A major initiative of Creative Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Film Commission is the Kurdistan Film Fund, the first national film funding body of its kind, with an annual allocation of $2m, supporting Kurdish narratives globally and encouraging international collaboration between Kurdish filmmakers and the wider global film industry.
