Justin Long and Hayden Panetierre have been cast in the lead voice roles in Lionsgate and Indian animation studio Crest Animation Partners' CGI family film Alpha And Omega.

Christina Ricci, Danny Glover, Dennis Hopper and Larry Miller round out the key voice cast in the story of bickering wolves who are must find their way home after they are captured.

Lionsgate and Crest are co-financing and co-producing the project, which is already in production and set for release in 2010. Pre and post-production will take place in Los Angeles and key animation at Crest Animation Studios in India.

Lionsgate will release the film in North America and the UK and Mandate International will commence overseas sales excluding India in Cannes next month.

Anthony Bell is directing from a screenplay that Chris Denk adapted from Steve Moore's original story. Executive vice president of Lionsgate Family Entertainment Ken Katsumoto is producing with Richard Rich for Crest.

Executive producers are Crest Animation Productions CEO Noah Fogelson, managing director and co-founder of Crest Animation Productions Seemha Ramanna and Crest Animation Studios CEO AK Madhavan.

Lionsgate's Wayne Levin, Katsumoto, Wendy Jaffe and Sean Kisker negotiated the deal with Crest Animation Productions' Ramanna and Fogelson.
