Universal's romantic comedy LoveActually opened on $1.7m from 210 prints through UIP in Japan at theweekend as the picture added $2.5m from 800 sites in 14 markets for a $156minternational running total.

Including non-UIP markets ithas grossed $165m and there are still seven to go, including Taiwan on Feb 14.

Along Came Polly added $705,000 from 195 sites in its third week inAustralia, slipping 35% and finishing in second place for a $5m cumulativescore. It was also due to open in Portugal, its second territory, this weekend.

Focus Features' Lost InTranslation opened fourth in Argentina on $90,000 from 15 sites, for a$6,000 per-screen average, the highest in that marketplace for the weekend.

It opened sixth in NewZealand on an excellent $150,000 from six venues.

Elsewhere, it added $182,000from 50 in Australia for a $2.7m total there in its seventh week and raised itsgross to $590,000 in its third week in Brazil, $495,000 in its third week inMexico and $75,000 in its second week in Chile.

The cumulative score fromArgentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and New Zealand now stands at$4.1m.

21 Grams added $900,000 from 152 in its second week in Spain,slipping only 9% for fourth place. Its international total to date is $7.5m.

Honey raised its international total to $13m with 18markets to go. It added $85,000 from 208 sites in its seventh week in Germany,slipping 55% for a $7.8m total there. It has grossed $3.5m by its fifth week inAustralia.
