Liz Mackiewicz has been appointed executive vice president of worldwide distribution at Arclight Films in Los Angeles and will take charge of sales at AFM alongside company chief Gary Hamilton.
Mackiewicz, who until recently served as a consultant to the company, will be responsible for evaluating projects as well as sales, licensing and distribution activities for the company.
She previously served as senior vice president of worldwide distribution for Media 8 Entertainment, and before that held the same title for First Look. She was also vice president of international distribution for MGM/Pathe International, formerly Cannon Films.
