Malaysia's Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) has acquired three films from Hong Kong's Universe Films Distribution at Hong Kong Filmart.
They are the Pang Brothers' The Storm Riders II, Oxide Pang's So What and On The Edge 2 by Herman Yau.
It also acquired Ip Man which features Donnie Yen and Simon Yam from Hong Kong's Mandarin Films at the market while deals for Sam Raimi's Drag Me To Hell from Mandate Pictures and Nicholas Cage-starring Knowing from Summit Entertainment were closed just before the market.
GSC is the country's largest exhibitorand has adistribution arm that acquires 50-70 films annually.
