Following new investment in August, the film and television company has brought in finance expert Susan Young as CFO and promoted Vanessa Goglio Shapiro from svp of worldwide sales to evp of sales.
Young will report to MarVista CEO Fernando Szew while Shapiro continues to oversee the sale team including new director of international sales Scott Kirkpatrick and Laura Hoffman, who has been promoted from director to executive director of sales and contract administration.
Matt Freeman arrives as vp of production and development and reports to evp of production and development Robyn Snyder.
“As a result of the capital influx in August 2011, MarVista has been aggressively developing its production, acquisition and development slate,” Szew said. “With the new volume and scale of projects we are undertaking, these new appointments are essential to ensure that we manage our growth efficiently and effectively in order to deliver the high profile programming to the market that our partners have come to expect.”
