Carnaby Films’ Michael Loveday is producing the thriller.

Melissa George and Ed Speleers have signed up to star in British director Julian Gilbey’s thriller Angel’s Peak (formerly titled The Long Weekend).

Carnaby Films’ Michael Loveday is producing the film, about a group of hikers in the Scottish Highlands who discover a Russian girl buried under the ground.

Gilbey, who nominated for a best newcomer BAFTA in 2006 for Rollin With The Nines, has also written the script.

Shooting will take place in Scotland this summer.
