Spanish sales house Grupo PI has sold all UK rights on San Sebastian International Film Festival competition title Aro Tolbukhin: In The Mind Of A Killer (Aro Tolbukhin: En La Mente Del Asesino) to Metro Tartan.

The deal was closed following the recent MIFED market, where Grupo PI also sold all rights for Mexico and Argentina to Quality Films on comedy My Mother Likes Women (A Mi Madre Le Gustan Las Mujeres). Mother also sold theatrical and video for all Central America to Gateno Films.

Directed by Agusti Villaronga, Lydia Zimmerman and Isaac P Racine, the critically well-received Aro Tolbukhin is a false documentary based on the real-life story of a Hungarian man accused of burning seven people alive in a Catholic mission infirmary in Guatemala in 1981. The film is a Spanish-Mexican co-production between Oberon Cinematografica and Altavista Films.
