The sales veteran Larry Meyers and Bobby Meyers will attend EFM with their new business and a roster of sales titles for buyers in Berlin.

Larry Meyers recently served at Media 8 before striking out alone last year and is named president of the production and finance company, while Bobby is taking a consultancy role as he explores international relationships.

The Berlin slate comprises: Manhattan Project drama Midnight Sun, the recipient of an Alfred P Sloan grant that is currently out to casting; casino mystery 7 Red to be produced by Mace Neufield Productions, Eryl Cochran and Branon Coluccio; futuristic action thriller Rider to be directed by Pascal Franchot and produced by Arnold Rifkin [pictured]; and coming-of-age tale One Square Mile.

Randy Dannenberg, formerly of Media 8, will serve as Meyers Media Group evp and will oversee production and acquisitions and screen films for the sales slate.

Peter Rowley has joined as vp of international distribution and administration and will work closely with Larry Meyers at international markets and festivals.

“We wanted to start this company because we believe that our expertise can help our partners, not only in the foreign sales process but in helping them complete their films, utilising international co-productions as well as bringing in equity,” Larry Meyers said.

“We have assembled an incredible team that brings years of independent and studio movie making experience, and who will provide our producer partners a well thought out strategy in achieving their goals.”

Larry Meyers has worked for Lorimar, New World Pictures and Morgan Creek, among others. Bobby Meyers has held positions at Columbia Pictures, Orion, Lorimar and Village Roadshow. He was a co-founder of the American Film Marketing Association, now know as IFTA.
