Germany's film sales community has a new player with thelaunch of Sola Media.

Managed by Norwegian-born Solveig Langeland (pictured),Sola Media's initial sales line-upincludes Dito Tsintsadze's San Sebastian-winner Gun Shy (Schussangst), Pepe Danquart's latest feature film C(r)ook, Bernd Sahling's German FilmAward-winning children's film Blindflyers(Blindgaenger), the live-action/animation children's film Alby (Pumuckl) and Tony Vitale's urbandrama One Last Ride.

Langeland has over ten years of experience in sales andmarketing from working at companies like the California Federal Bank, GeneralMotors and IBM.

Before setting up Sola media, she was responsible forproject acquisition, development and sales at Bjorg Veland's BV InternationalPictures and was closely involved in financing of several features such asVitale's One Last Ride.

Sola Media received Euros 15,000 in sales support for Gun Shy and C(r)ook from Baden-Wuerttemberg's regional film fund MFG at itslast funding session.
