Following its recent berth at the BFI London Film Festival, Matthew Heineman’s A Private War has been picked up for UK and Ireland rights by Altitude Film Distribution.
Rosamund Pike and Jamie Dornan star in the film based on the life of Sunday Times war correspondent Marie Colvin.
The film premiered at Toronto. Aviron Pictures held UK rights and is distributing the film in the US, opening it in New York and Los Angeles today (November 2).
Altitude will release in February 2019.
