Claes Bang has joined 20th Century Studios’ thriller Painter for Hulu, which includes James Cameron among its executive producers and has wrapped production in Belgrade, Serbia.
Garrett Warren, who was the stunt coordinator on Logan and Avatar: The Way Of Water among others, directs the story starring Amber Midthunder from Prey in the title role as a young woman who sets off to rescue the kidnapped adoptive father who raised her in the Appalachian mountains.
The cast includes Walton Goggins, Florian Munteanu, Matthew Needham, new cast member Ving Rhames, and Joshua Orpin.
Producers are Drew Simon, Sam Speiser and Derek Kolstad, with Austin Lapierre serving as executive producer alongside Cameron.
Painter will debut on the platform at a date to be announced and additional details will be released in the coming months.
