Highland Film Group has launched worldwide sales at TIFF on action thriller One Way starring Colson Baker AKA recording artist “Machine Gun Kelly” and Travis Fimmel.

Andrew Baird (Highland sales title Zone 414) directs from a screenplay by Ben Conway. Principal photography is set to begin in January 2021.

One Way was developed with funding from Northern Ireland Screen and Screen Ireland and centres on a wounded man who flees into the California desert with a bag of cash and cocaine after a botched robbery.

Tim Palmer, Martin Brennan, and Jib Polhemus are producing, and Bill Grantham serves as executive producer.

Baker can currently be seen in Netflix film Project Power featuring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He recently starred as Tommy Lee in Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt for Netflix, as well as Lionsgate’s Nerve starring Emma Roberts and Dave Franco.

Fimmel can currently be seen in Ridley Scott’s Raised by Wolves on HBO Max, and his credits include History Channel’s Vikings, Warcraft which earned over $500 million dollars worldwide, Maggie’s Plan and Zone 414 opposite Guy Pearce and Matilda Lutz.
