In a move to boost its international division, SND Films has appointed Alexis Reybet-Degat as head of international library and scripted sales.
He will over oversee all international sales of the film catalogue, TV series, and remake rights for both library and original scripted content for SND Films, the distribution and production arm of French media powerhouse Groupe M6.
Reybet-Degat most recently served as VP of international library & remake sales at Studiocanal, following roles in global sales and acquisitions at Elle Driver and Borsalino. In his new role at SND, he will report to Ramy Nahas, the company’s director of international sales & distribution
SND’s catalogue boasts some 1,000 titles including Yves Saint Laurent, Two Is a Family, Heartbreaker and 3D CGI animations Astérix – The Mansions of the Gods and Astérix – The Secret of the Magic Potion.
It also includes European classics such as The Swimming Pool, Beauty and the Beast, Orpheus, and has recently completed 4K restorations of acclaimed classics such as Jean Becker’s One Deadly Summer and Dominik Moll’s Harry, He’s Here to Help.
It also boasts a robust TV slate including My Wife is a Spy that recently played at Canneseries and plans to expanded its scripted slate acquiring and producing new series.
“This strategic hire reaffirms SND’s international ambitions and its commitment to expanding the global footprint of its films and series among broadcasters and distribution partners worldwide,” SND Films said in a statement.
