Warner Bros has confirmed that the studio is in final negotiations with Jude Law, Penelope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Emma Mackey, and Owen Wilson on the first film from Nancy Meyers in over a decade.

The project landed at the studio in turnaround from Netflix and is scheduled to open on December 12, 2027. Meyers will direct from her screenplay, and produces alongside Ilona Herzberg. Diana Pokorny serves as executive producer.

Culkin won the Oscar for A Real Pain in 2025 and starred in the HBO smash Succession. He will next be seen in Lionsgate’s November release The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping.
