Lionsgate will release John Rambo directed by Jalmari Helander from the Sisu franchise in North America on June 4, 2027.
The prequel to the Rambo franchise depicting the character’s origin story and events preceding First Blood, which came out in 1982, stars Noah Centineo in the lead role made famous by Sylvester Stallone.
Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani co-wrote the screenplay and Kevin King Templeton, Les Weldon, Jonathan Yunger, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Michael Disco serve as producers.
Stallone leads an executive producer roster that also features Anthony and Joe Russo, Trevor Short, Dallas Sonnier, and Amanda Presmyk. Lionsgate presents the AGBO / Templeton Media / Bonfire Legend production in association with Millennium Media.
