EXCLUSIVE: MPI Media Group is launching international sales in Cannes this week on the found footage horror title Dooba Dooba, which was filmed entirely on security cameras.

US distribution has locked with Dark Sky Films, which plans a late 2025 theatrical release on the story about a young woman who takes what appears to be a routine babysitting job, only to uncover secrets about the girl in her care and the house she cannot leave.

Ehrland Hollingsworth directed the film, which was made in the analogue horror aesthetic popularised by YouTube creators. It stars Betsy Sligh, Amna Vegha, Erin O’Meara, Winston Haynes, and Billy Hulsey.

The film has toured horror festivals in the United States. Greg Newman, EVP of Dark Sky Films, negotiated the US distribution and worldwide sales deal with producers Joshua Sonny Harris and Hollingsworth on behalf of the film.

Franziska McCray, international sales director for MPI Media Group, and her team will commence talks this week on the Croisette.
