Jack Campbell’s Octane Entertainment has closed key territories let by France and Germany on thriller The Boy Behind The Door.
Rights have closed in: Benelux (Premiere TV), France (Program Store), Germany, Austria, Switzerland (Lighthouse), CIS (Volga), and India (Pictureworks).
Further deals have closed in Mexico (The Dark Side), Middle East (Eagle Films), Eastern Europe (Daro), Scandinavia (Njuta), and South Korea (Andamiro).
David Charbonier and Justin Powell directed the film about a young boy who is kidnapped with his best friend and escapes, only to return to the captor’s remote house to save his friend. Lonnie Chavis and Ezra Dewey star.
Shudder will release The Boy Behind The Door on its service in North America, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on July 29.
