London-based post production company LipSync has come onboard as an equity investor on Mike Newell’s Great Expectations.

LipSync joins BBC Films and the BFI Film Fund as one of the financiers on the Dickens adaptation, which is being produced by Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen for Number 9 Films.

The company will also do full post on the film, which is currently shooting in London, starring Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter. Post production is due to begin in March 2012.

It will be the third Number 9 project that Lip Sync has worked on following How To Lose Friends And Alienate People and Made In Dagenham.

Recent LipSync investments include My Week With Marilyn and The Deep Blue Sea.
