The Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) has announced that festival co-directors Kim Dong-ho and Lee Yong-kwan will now head up the Asian Film Market.

Former co-director Park Kwang-su bowed out of the market position last December to focus on his filmmaking work as previously planned.

PIFF deputy director and World Cinema programmer, Jay Jeon, will also be taking care of administrative matters at the market.

Founding festival director Kim has been at PIFF for 13 years, and now focuses on international while Lee, a former Korean Cinema programmer, was appointed co-director two years ago to focus on domestic affairs.

Kim and Jeon will be representing the fest and market in Berlin along with a newly reshuffled Asian Film Market team including Lim Ji-yoon, head of PPP and also newly appointed manager of marketing and sales for Japan; Chae Bo-hyun, marketing and sales manager for China & Korea, and Janice Chung, former market PR head who has been appointed marketing and sales manager overseeing Europe, America & South-East Asia.

This year's Asian Film Market will run Oct 3-6 during PIFF, which will run Oct 2-10.
