The Last Samurai has passed $350m in worldwide ticket sales accordingto Warner Bros Pictures Int'l following an estimated $22.4m weekendinternational gross from 5,907 screens in 45 markets.
With mostly smaller bowsincluding Finland and four in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the actionadventure raised its international cumulative total to a mighty $242.8m.
It is fast approaching $100min the key market of Japan, climbing 6% in its ninth weekend there for astaggering $98.2m running total. In Asia as a whole it has grossed $17.2m todate.
Italy leads the way inEurope, where the film has amassed $105.5m across the continent in only thefourth week of release. It has taken $21.3m in Italy, $18m in Spain, $17.3m ionthe UK, $15.2m in Germany and $11.8m in its third week in France.
Latin America has taken $14mso far while the total for Australia and New Zealand is now $8m.
