The Scottish BAFTAs are to return this year, following a break in 2010.
The British Academy Scotland Awards (formerly known as the BAFTA in Scotland Awards) will take place on Nov 13 in Glasgow.
There will be 15 categories and 3 special contribution awards spanning across film, television and games.
2010 was a strong year for Scottish films with Peter Mullan’s NEDS and Kevin MacDonald’s The Eagle.
Jude Maclaverty, director of BAFTA in Scotland said: ‘We are delighted to be staging the awards again this year which will shine a spotlight on the fantastic creative and technical talent which exists in Scotland. The quality and diversity of the work is a credit to the industry– I look forward to the nominations in October’
Nominations for this year’s awards will be announced on October 17.
