The Philadelphia Cinema Alliance has unveiled the winners of this year’s awards that will collect their prizes at the upcoming 15th Philadelphia QFest from July 9-20.

Actor Chad Allen will receive the Artistic Achievement Award on July 9 and actress Sharon Gless will receive the Gay Icon Award on July 19.

H P Mendoza will receive the Rising Star Award on July 16 before the screening of his directorial debut Fruit Fly, and film-maker Dr Dee Mosbacher will receive the Barbara Gittings Award on July 18.
