Joe Stephenson’s Acts Of God is first feature to come out of UK production outfit B Good Picture Company

Newly formed UK production outfit B Good Picture Company has announced the first two features on its slate.

Acts Of God is the directorial feature debut of Joe Stephenson, who set up B Good Picture Company after producing and directing short film The Alchemistic Suitcase in 2009.

The comedy road movie follows a risk assessment officer who discovers he as a guardian angel whilst trying to get to his fiancee’s bedside in Paris.

Robert Sheehan and Ed Hogg will star in the film, which is due to start shooting in the Autumn.

Also on the slate is suspense thriller Mercenary, which is currently being scripted by Dr Who writer James Moran.

Stephenson commented: “I’m very proud to be launching the company with ‘Acts Of God’ and ‘Mercenary.’ The two couldn’t be further apart from each other in terms of genre, but I believe they illustrate perfectly the diversity that will define B Good”
