Spain's 42nd Street Productions has boarded new Cuban-Spanish co-production Kill, God Will Forgive (Mata, Que Dios Perdona).
The film, produced by Paco Millan and Eduardo Benitez of Seville-based Omnibus Pictures, is a dark tale of impossible love between cousins from director Ismael Perdomo. Shooting starts in September with co-production from Cuba's Santiago Alvarez.
42nd Street also begins shooting in Barcelona next week on a pilot episode for The WB Network of new US sitcom Are We There Yet, a co-production between Casey-Werner-Mandabach and Mark Burnett Productions.
The sitcom stars John Higgins, Maggie Welsh, Dan Byrd, Abigail Spencer and Kenan Thompson as an American family from Ohio on a European vacation. The continuity of the series will be decided following the pilot, but future episodes would shoot elsewhere in Europe.
