Bernd Stephan has been named chief financial officer, Adene Lacy has been named vice president of finance, and Sara Ptakowski has been named director of human resources/operations at The Film Dept.
Stephan arrives from Yari Film Group where he most recently served as senior vice president and controller and worked on releases such as The Illusionist, The Matador, and The Hoax.
Lacy will oversee the accounting department and will be responsible for forecasting and participations. She has held finance posts at Imagine Entertainment, Viacom and Bronson Productions, among others.
Ptakowski served as human resources director at Endeavor talent agency, where she was responsible for all employee benefits programmes, recruitment and succession planning, as well as overseeing training and development.
Stephan reports to The Film Dept chiefs Mark Gill and Neil Sacker. Both Lacy and Ptakowski will report to Stephan.
