Fandango Portobello sales has closed deals with eight additional territories for Matteo Garrone's competition screener Gomorrah, which has earned $4.9 million (E 3.1 million) at the Italian box office since its release a week ago.

Sales have been confirmed with Spain (Alta Classics), Greece (Film Trade), Israel (Orlando), Russia (Maywin Media), Portugal (Eco Films), Colombia (Babilla), Scandinavia (NonStop), and Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay (Alfa).

Prior to the Gomorrah's Cannes screening Fandango Portobello had sealed deals with seven other territories including UK's Optimum and Prokino for Germany and Austria.

Gomorrah is a realistic account of the Naples crime organization known as Camorra, based on the best-selling book of the same name by Roberto Saviano.
