On the eve of Summit Entertainment's release of the teen comedy Sex Drive, the company has signed a deal with the film's screenwriters Sean Anders and John Morris to develop an untitled comedy.

Anders will direct and Morris will produce the film about a wild college sophomore who inherits a stubborn baby after a one-nigh-stand is killed in a car crash.

Summit's president of production Erik Feig said the pair 'were two of the coolest, nicest guys around as well as comedic geniuses' and will oversee the project for the studio with vice president of production Jean Song.

'[Summit] allowed us the creative breathing room to employ our unique method and when hard decisions needed to be made, they stepped up for the quality of the movie every time,' Anders, who directed Sex Drive, added. 'A first-time director could not have asked for a more supportive bunch to collaborate with.'

Morris and Anders wrote the scripts for the upcoming He's Out Of My League and Never Been Thawed. They are represented by CAA and Mosaic.
