The Sundance Channel has acquired US TV rights to The Woman Chaser, Robinson Devor's debut feature which screened at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival in the American Spectrum section. It was released theatrically in 14 US markets last summer by Bob Berney's Inwood Films.

The deal was negotiated by Larry Greenberg, manager of acquisitions for the Sundance Channel and Showtime Networks and David Garber of Lantern Lane Entertainment on behalf of the production company Tarmac Films and Inwood Films.

Shot in black and white, The Woman Chaser is based on Charles Willeford's pulp fiction classic and stars Patrick Warburton as a used car salesman involved in a desperate venture in the B-studio movie world of late 50s Los Angeles.
