Mickey Liddell has acquired most of the world on the Sundance horror film Silent House starring Elizabeth Olsen while the forbidden love drama Circumstance has sold to Participant Media for North America.

Liddell took worldwide rights to House excluding the UK, Scandinavia and the Middle East. A US deal is understood to be close after Liddell acquired the rights from CAA on Monday.

Elle Driver retains the UK, Scandinavia and the Middle East. Elizabeth Olsen stars in the one-take horror tale from Open Water filmmakers Chris Kentis and Laura Lau.

CAA represents several other Sundance titles that are in play, including The Devil’s Double jointly with Paradigm, Knuckle and Bellflower. A remake deal on Knuckle and domestic on The Devil’s Double are understood to be close.

Maryam Keshavarz’s US Dramatic Competition entry Circumstance stars Nikohl Boosheri and Sarah Kazemy in the rites-of-passage story set in Tehran.

Paradigm negotiated with Participant’s Jeff Ivers, Ricky Strauss and Jonathan King. Funny Balloons holds international rights. Karin Chien, Keshavarz and Melissa M Lee produced the film.
