THINKFilm has acquired all US rights from Corvid Pictures to Bruce McDonald's drama The Tracey Fragments starring Ellen Page.

The national release will commence with a May 9 platform release in Manhattan on the heels of its premiere on March 14 as part of New York's Museum of Modern Art's Canadian Front series.

Based on screenwriter Maureen Medved's novel of the same name, The Tracey Fragments uses split screens to tell the story of 15-year-old Tracey Berkowitz while she searches for her missing brother. Ari Cohen, Max McCabe-Lokos, Erin McMurtry, SlimTwig, and Julian Richings also star.

The film's accolades include the Manfred Salzgeber Panorama Jury Prize at the 2007 Berlinale and a best actress trophy for Page from the Vancouver Film Critics Circle. Sarah Timmins produced and Paul Barkin served as executive producer.
