Rhymes For Young Ghouls and The New Black were selected from 11 projects at a ceremony on Thursday night (26) to win the $10,000 Tribeca All Access Creative Promise Awards for narrative and documentaries, respectively.
The institute also awarded grants and fellowships totaling $92,000 in funds to ten individuals.
“Tribeca All Access represents a community of truly remarkable artists, and we are proud to support both the completion and effective dissemination of their work,” Tribeca Film Institute executive director Beth Janson said.
