Tribeca Enterprises and ESPN Inc will launch The Tribeca/ESPNSports Film Festival during the 2007 Tribeca Film festival, which is set to runfrom Apr 25-May 5.

In a multi-year arrangement, The Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festivalwill be programmed and operated by the Tribeca Film Festival with on-airsupport from ESPN.

Targeted at both the film industry and sports film fans, theFestival will feature a complete programme of screenings, live events, onlineinteractivity, and media extensions. An advisory board comprising leaders insports and film is being set up.

'Filmmakers have long been captivated by the compellingstorytelling inspired by sports,' Tribeca Film Festival co-founder JaneRosenthal said.
