Strike Entertainment's horror remake Dawn Of The Dead grossed an estimated $3.2m through Universal/UIPfrom 1,200 screens in 14 countries at the weekend, raising its internationalrunning total to $7.6m, excluding $10.1m in the UK where it was releasedindependently through Entertainment.

The picture opened on $700,000 from 164 screens in Spain, tyingfor third place with Columbia TriStar's Secret Window, while Brazil produced $300,000 from 149in fourth place. Opening figures for Italy and Taiwan will become availabletomorrow.

Dawn Of The Dead added $575,000 from 329 in its second week in Germany, where itranked third and raised its running total to $1.9m. Mexico is on $1.6m in itsfourth week.

Meanwhile the horror comedy Shaun Of The Dead added $1m in its third week in the UK,where it ranked third and has grossed $9.6m and is expected to pass $10m nextweekend.

The romanticcomedy Along Came Pollyraised its international running total to $79.7m and has five more countries toopen.
