London-based post-production house Concrete is adding a new outpost, formerly known as The Facility, located at 62 Dean Street.

Concrete has expanded to encompass the new space as well as its existing premises at 34-35 Dean Street. Both operations will now be known as Concrete.

The expansion will allow Concrete to work with clients of both companies giving them more facilities and technology (such as another 5.1 Pro-tools audio suite.

The Facility directors Alex Goodes, Jason Kosbab and John Howard will join the board at Concrete Post and take on senior management roles.

'To join with a company like Concrete will allow us and Concrete to offer clients a fantastic range of post production services spread over two Soho sites,' Kosbab, joint MD of The Facility said.

Also, Concrete has also hired a number of key staff from Beach 74, formerly ArenaP3, which went into administration recently. These include business development manager Anthony Hayward; senior editor Jenny Wright; editor James Dale; booker Reiko Shimazaki; Dan Marsh; and audio designer Folu Ososanya.

Concrete's joint MD David Cox said: 'Combining Concrete,'The Facility and selected creative talent from the former Beach74 allows us to provide more creative and flexible choices to our mutual existing clients, as well as being able to offer Concrete's high-end visual effects and finishing services to broadcast programme producers. Having a second location just 50 metres from our current address allows us more room to grow and react quickly to opportunities as they arise.'
