Shooting has just started onWarner Bros Italy's $7.7m (Euros 6m) political comedy, Mio Fratello e'Figlio Unico.

Directed by DanieleLucchetti, the film is about a young seminarian who becomes a fascistand then a left-wing activist. It is inspired by Antonio Pennacchi'snovel Il fasciocomunista.

The film is produced byCattleya, and written by Stefano Rulli and Sandro Petraglia. It stars RiccardoScamarcio, Elio Germano, Angela Finocchiaro and Luca Zingaretti.

France's Babe isco-producing the picture, which is shooting in Rome and Southern Italy for 10weeks.

Shooting has also juststarted on Cattleya's Commediasexi,a new film by popular Casomai director Alessandro D'Alatri.

The $8.3m (Euros 6.5m)picture marks D'Alatri's first foray into broad comedy, and is a trianglebetween a politician, a chauffeur and a TV starlet.

It stars TV presenter PaoloBonolis, Stefania Rocca, Michele Placido and Margherita Buy.

It is shooting in Paris andRome for 11 weeks. 01 Distribution is scheduling the film for release inItaly next Christmas.

Cattleya's upcoming slateincludes Gianni Amelio's The Missing Star, Roberta Torre's Mare Neroand Paolo Virzi's N, which areall in post.
