With five new acquisitions, Wide Management is gearing up for a busy EFM. First up was Panorama selection Shelter from director Marco Simon Puccioni, starring Maria De Medeiros, Antonia Liskova and Mounir Ouadi. The film traces the story of an Italian couple who return from vacation to find that a Moroccan stowaway has hidden in their car.

Also in Panorama is A Casa De Alice from Brazil 's Chico Teixeiro about a 40-year-old woman who begins to question her unfulfilling life in Sao Paulo. Carla Ribas, Berta Zemel and Zecarlos Machado star.

In the Forum, Wide is handling two films. Faro, a co-production between France, Canada, Mali and Germany is directed by Salif Traore and is about a man returning to his childhood village to confront his past. French documentary Substitute is directed by Fred Poulet and Vikash Dhorasoo and looks at last year's World Cup football tournament through the eyes of a substitute player.

Finally, the other new title on Wide's roster is Ex Drummer from the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and France. Directed by Koen Mortier, the controversial film is based on the novel by Herman Brusselmans about three dysfunctional rock musicians who find a new drummer only to see him wreak havoc in their lives.
