UK production outfit Samuelson Productions, tax-driven First Choice Films, distributor Momentum Pictures and tax-based financier Isle of Man Film are starting shooting on comedy drama You Don't Have To Say You Love Me this week.

The story of a group of twenty-something friends desperately resisting the inevitable - adulthood and responsibility - stars Dougray Scott, Jimi Mistry, Emilia Fox, Shaun Parkes and Billie Piper (The Calcium Kid, The Canterbury Tales).

Simon Shore, who made his mark with debut Get Real, is directing, with Marc Samuelson and Peter Samuelson producing.

Written by Get Real's Patrick Wilde, the project is based on Dutch film All Stars, which was adapted into a TV spin-off and went on to win the International Emmy in 2000.

Momentum Pictures will distribute in the UK, Eire, Australia and New Zealand, while Alliance Atlantis will handle international distribution rights for the film. Executive Producers are Sally Caplan, Steve Christian, Rolf Koot, who produced All Stars, David Kosse, Don Starr and Daniel Taylor.
