Adrien Grenier's coming-of-age tale Euthanasia is among more than 50 entries from seven countries that will screen at the third annual HollyShorts Film festival, which runs from Aug 11-12 in Hollywood.

The line-up of events include two industry panels looking at how experience on short films can benefit a feature film-making career, and the impact of digital on packaging and promoting films, as well as a closing night party presided over by hip-hop star Biz Markie.

'It's a testament to the growth of HollyShorts to have an esteemed host such as [VJ] Viviana Vigil and the legendary Hip Hop impresario Biz Markee spinning at the event,' festival director and co-founder Daniel Sol said.

'We are looking forward to providing the industry, film-makers and community of film enthusiasts with an action-packed weekend of panels and networking opportunities.'
