The East Coast premiere of Laurie Lynd's comedy Breakfast With Scot and Thomas Gustafson's Were The World Mine bookend the 10th Annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, which is set to run from Apr 25-May 4.

Avi Nesher's drama The Secrets starring Fanny Ardant is the centerpiece screening. Killer Films partner and longtime producer Christine Vachon will be the subject of a tribute before the screening of Tom Kalin's Savage Grace.

Festival organisers have also announced the launch of the Fort Lauderdale Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, which will run from May 1-May 4. The new event will open with Johnny Symons' documentary Ask Not and close with Scott Bloom's Call Me Troy.
